I'm looking for a historical romance in which the hero sails to find a lost girl, who is 13 years old, and brings her back to England to her family. The girl is described as having sapphire eyes. Once she is back with her family in England she is prepared for her coming out, etc. Years pass, and It then goes on to relate how the hero who originally saved her falls in love with her, and she with him.
If im not mistaken, the reason she is seperated from her family is because her father, mother, and her were sailing on a vacation, and their ship crashed, and she was the only one who survived.
Both the man who saved her, and the young girl are wealthy.

I remember one scene specifically, in which shortly after our hero discovers the young girl, he must wrestle her in order to brush out her matted hair. This all takes place onthe boat they are sailing back on.

Please help! This was the first historical romance I ever read! It was fantastic!
