Some of our favorite romance authors share their favorite historical romances!

I was reading this article (http://books.usatoday.com/happyeverafter/post/2012-08-09/free-books-favorite-historical-romances/821375/10) and found a list of books some of our favorite romance authors enjoy, which I thought was interesting:

Here are a few (all of them can be read at http://books.usatoday.com/happyeverafter/post/2012-08-09/free-books-favorite-historical-romances/821375/10)

Teresa Medeiros, Goodnight Tweetheart

"My favorite historical romance (and favorite novel) is The Windflower by Tom and Sharon Curtis (aka Laura London). I reread it at least once a year to remind myself of everything a romance novel can be."

Rebecca York, Dark Moon

"My favorite historical romance is Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase. Her wounded hero, Lord Dane, is beyond redemption, until the right woman teaches him about love."

Jill Shalvis, Forever and a Day

"My favorite historical romance is Shanna by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss. It's also my first historical romance. There's nothing like your first. :)"

Suzanne Brockmann, Born to Darkness

"My favorite historical romance is a Regency-era book called Libby's London Merchant by Carla Kelly. It's the only book I've ever read that, upon finishing, I immediately turned back to page one and read it over again. (Runner-up is the post-Civil-War-set The Wedding Dress by Virginia Ellis. It made me think, 'This is why I write romance!') (I write contemporary romantic suspense, and read historical romances as a true escape! I love them!)"
