Time Travel Romance > First ime travel you read

I was just curious does anyone else remember the first time travel book they read? You know the one that really got you hooked.

The time travel I remembering reading and absolutely loving was Wings of the storm by Suzanne Sizemore. I was set a few years into the future and the heroine travel back to the medieval times. The hero, would come and go from the time looking for her.

The one that reeled me in was Outlander by Diane Gabaldon. It's a series of several books, while I enjoyed the first few books, the later books in the series broke away from romance and seemed to become more historical. Outlander was fabulous though - you end up relating to Claire from the 1940's who goes back in time through standing stones to 1600's Scotland. She is forced to marry Jamie Frazer who protects her from a mad British Captain and herself. I am also hooked on Lynn Kurland and Karen Marie Moning.

I don't know if it would be classified as time-travel, but the first one I read was By Appointment Only by Davidyne Saxon Mayleas. During her dreams and other times, she sees clips from a time long ago. It is a great book and I highly recommend it.
